Paul Sharp - proprietor comes from a nursing background having
qualified as a 1st level nurse back in the 70's. He has further qualifications
in accident & emergency, district nursing, obstetrics and is a qualified
Health Visitor. He has a nationally recognised qualification in Dementia
Care and is currently working towards his Registered Managers Award. Christine Sharp - proprietor comes with a qualification in Hotel
& Institutional Management. Over the years she has gained a Certificate
in Gerontology along with nationally recognised qualifications in Aromatherapy,
Massage, Reminiscence, Chair Based Exercises and Dementia Care. Carol Plant started working at Watford House 16years ago as assistant
manager and has been manager for the last 14 years. Carol has a nationally
recognised qualification in Dementia Care, her NVQ III in Management,
her D32/D33 Assessors Award. Carol is currently working towards her Registered
Managers Award. Julie Braithwaite joined the management team in November 2002.
She has her NVQ levels II and III in Direct Care, a D32/D33 Assessors
Award and a ECDL award in Computer Literacy. Julie is working towards
her Registered Managers Award. The senior management team is made up of all four members. Paul, Carol
and Julie administer and run the Home on a daily basis whilst Christine,
now retired from activities organiser, supports those resident who have
no regular family contacts and attends the weekly management meetings. |
